Rugadh agus tógadh le Gaeilge Pilib Mistéil ar Ghaeltacht Bhóthar Seoighe. Is príomhóide é ar Bhunscoil an tSléibhe Dhuibh sa cheantar ó bhunaíodh na scoile. Chaith sé seal mar chigire leis an Roinn Oideachais agus is Cathaoirleach é ar Iontaobhas na Gaelscolaíochta.
Pilib was born and raised through Irish on the Shaws Road Gaeltacht. He has been the Principal of Bunscoil an tSléibhe Dhuibh in the area since the school’s foundation. He spent a period as an inspector with the Department of Education and is Chairperson of the Irish Medium Trust Fund.
